MANHATTAN, Kan. | Carson Coffman is once again Kansas State’s starting quarterback, coach Bill Snyder announced Monday. Coffman, a senior from Raymore-Peculiar, held the job for four games last season but surrendered his playing time to Grant Gregory at the start of Big 12 play. Since the end of last season, Coffman has been in a competition with sophomore Collin Klein and junior Sammuel Lamur.

Kansas State football fans will get their first, and only, preview of the Wildcats today in Manhattan, Kan. Starting at 5 p.m., the public will be allowed inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium to watch the team practice for one hour. K-State usually spends most of that time spread across the field running position drills. But last year some scrimmages took place. At the conclusion of practice, coach Bill Snyder and select players will address the crowd and sign autographs. What to bring: Autograph seekers will want to bring a marker and anything they want signed. Players will be available for autographs immediately after practice, with Snyder staying after the players head to the locker room. Traditionally, Snyder stays on the field until every autograph request has been fulfilled.

MANHATTAN, Kan. | The Kansas State men&rsquo;s basketball team will face Gonzaga in the CBE Classic semifinals this fall at the Sprint Center. The game will tip off at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 22. Defending national champion Duke and Marquette will meet in the first semifinal, which tips off at 6:30 p.m. The winners will meet in the finals and the two losers in the consolation game Nov. 23.
